Amoskeag Rugby Club is extremely proud of its achievements off the field in the arenas of community and charitble work.  Amoskeag club members have participated in the following activities around the community:

  • 2006 - 2008 Greater Manchester Habitat for Humanity Project
  • 2006 - 2010 New Hampshire Adopt-a-Road sponsor
  • 2007- 2010 CASA ski relay competitors.  See press release:  casanh.org 
  • "Give Blood, Play Rugby" Blood Drive , 2000 to 2010
  • 2007-2009 Susan G Komen Cancer Fundraiser
  • 2007 'It takes balls to beat cancer' fundraiser for Lance Armstrong's Ride for the Roses
  • 1997 to 2010 Amoskeag Youth Rugby Club (coaching and organizing rugby for New Hampshire teens
  • 2000: Hosts to USA v Ireland and USA v Canada rugby international matches in Manchester (see above)

In an effort to promote the sport of rugby, enable athletes and members to get to know each better both on and off the field, and as a way to recruit those interested in learning about the Foundation and raise money for the Foundation which is fun for members, families and friends, the Rugby Foundation supports a number of social activities including winter pond hockey tournaments, Manchester Monarchs hockey outings, "6 Nations" rugby breakfasts, Adult/Retro Prom Night, Halloween parties, and a number of summer time pool parties after competitions and practice.
